College of Staten Island women's basketball team coasts to 68-15 victory

The College of Staten Island rolled to a 68-15 CUNY Conference women?s basketball victory over winless Medgar Evers on Saturday in Willowbrook.

Olivia Tierno led all scorers with 15 points and Melanie Johnson and Jennifer Coughlan added 11 apiece. Eleven Dolphins scored and all 12 players played at least 13 minutes apiece.

The Dolphins led 44-8 at halftime.

CSI improved to 5-1 in CUNY play and 8-6 overall, while Medgar Evers dropped to 0-6 and 0-14. ?
